My favorite time to talk to my girls is at night before they go to sleep - they are calm and of course talkative because they are fighting the "s" word. It is during these times that they are most willing to share details and answer questions on just about any subject.
Well, last night it was late and Mollie still had not fallen asleep - so she crept into our room and slid her way up into our bed and because we are such softies we turned all of our attention to her. As we were talking, singing and counting Gary decided to start testing her on different things. He asked what her last name was and then pointed to me and asked her what my name was. She of course replied "Mommy", he said, "No, what's her other name?" Her reply was, "Mama." One more time he said, "No, what is another name for her?" She paused and thought for just a second and said, "Yo, Baby." Needless to say we laughed for a long time.
