Finally, another blog entry!!

Casey is a married woman!!

We went back to Florida for a week to see Casey get married. She married Jay. An old friend of the family. They had been friends years ago and then lost touch. This past Thanksgiving they ran into each other at the hospital and things progressed from there.

They are perfect for each other. Casey is happier than I have seen her in years and Jay is an amazing man. He loves God, has strong morals and values, he is determined and a very hard worker but best of all he loves and adores Casey and Aubrey.

The wedding was so beautiful. It was in the courtyard of the Lightner Museum in St. Augustine. It was a very private and intimate ceremony. It was the perfect combination of informal elegance. Casey was radiant. (Obviously, I was not the photographer so my pictures are that great.) The neatest part of the whole thing was that Jay planned the entire event. Everything about the wedding was a surprise to her - which was perfect. Any of you who know Casey very well know that she is not good at planning events, especially ones that revolve around her. She said she wouldn't have changed a thing!!



Anyway, welcome to the family Jay. It saddens my heart that we don't live closer so that we could all spend time together. We love you both and miss you much more than you may realize.
